2026 VOTER-APPROVED BOND UPDATE #1
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural & Engineering Services is officially active, with submissions due back to the Authority by October 30, 2026.
Our elected Board of Fire Commissioners and Project Committee will select an architectural and engineering firm in November, with plans to execute a contract by December 2026.
Our 1st priority is the Lake Lawrence Fire Station, located at 17213 153rd Ave SE, Yelm, WA 98597. While the facility has served our community well since opening in 1977, this project will modernize the station to include full living quarters for 24-hour staffing and update the facility to meet modern safety standards for public fire stations.
